Mariano Favre is a progressive producer from Rosario/Santa Fé in Argentina, country that has been a prolific forge of talented progressive artists such as Kintar and Maindave just to name two. He has been releasing productions and remixes since 2007 and has often collaborated with fellow producer Fernando Ferreyra. This new solo release is a two track EP released by 7 Seas Records.

Universe is the track that clearly stands out from this package: a deep bassline takes us through this 7 minute long journey but the track really comes to live when the main trancy melodic line is introduced in the breakdown. This nice track is another demonstration that the level of complexity of a track has no correlation with its quality, a simple concept that many current EDM producers struggle to grasp.

Going Back on the other hand is characterized by a more techy beat and groove, however the track main strength is the melancholic melodic line employed in the first (1.34) and last part of the song (5.10). A decent but not outstanding atmospheric progressive song.
