articulation menu in battery question

Is it possible to articulate more than one item in one cell for example

have the same cell have a flam ,roll and alternate stroke

or is the only way to do this copy that cell into a empty cell and apply more articulating items on it.

Unfortunately, articulations are only available on a per-cell basis in Battery 3. So, yeah, you'd have to copy the sample to another cell(s) and assign different articulations to each cell. I've tried assigning different articulations by velocity zone, multiple notes, etc., but it doesn't work - it just assigns the same articulation to all velocity zones and notes. Also, I'm pretty sure that you can't change the articulation parameters via CC#, but I could be wrong, so it might be worth giving it a shot.
