finally something that its not trance around this forum

love the vocals on the first one
personal opinion on the perclines, meaby a lil bit of reverb will make them sound a lot better , try it :P

listening the second one
not my style but its pretty good
i didnt like the second bassline u put , the one that starts around the 3:08 mins

but everything else, its good !

Thanks. I just cut up the original & original remixes, only clean sample I got was the bassline and one or two FX, the rest like the vocal had to run through a high pass filter and other stuff to isolate it best I could.

I'm going out on a limb, here, and say I didn't much care for them. My main problem with them was the quality of the samples which, understanding they were lifted from the track, were enviably stolen but still too shrill.

The first mix seemed to almost be a reduction of the original work. It didn't add a great deal that wasn't there, already, apart from some contemporary mixing sensibilities which were, in fact, quite well executed.

The second dub was the most rhythmically promising of the two but being relegated to the samples you harvested didn't do it much justice.

Perhaps my problem is a subjective one with the form but they just didn't pull me into their mix and I really wanted them to. After the first riff and hook, though, it got old.

i agree to a certain extent being that i felt like there was too much space in the mix.. could've used a pad or something to fill out the tracks imo.

THIS! Is a really good idea. Those vocals over a pad, with even just a four or eight band vocoder on a different synth just mixed underneath their prominence could add a lot to this. You could really create an interesting, trippy texture with it.

Thanks for the feedback, as far as adding anything the Golden Age remix is pretty full, I had a hard time mixing it down as it is and I think my processor didnt appreciate the amount of shit going on either.
