They prob can. Licenses run 6am-2am. Why they are prob opening at 6am and not earlier. There are a number of bars in SF that open up at 6am and I'd be shocked when I'd walk by one at 6:30am every once in a while when I had to go into work super early and there'd be a few people at the bar already drinking. Usually old people who are low on life, hehe.

I remember during the last WC a lot of pubs in SF tried to be open between 2am and 6am just to show the game. They didn't serve any alcohol - just water, soda, juices, and coffee - but they still were forced to close by the cops, ticketd, and forced to re-open at 6am.

Yes, we can sell alcohol. The club always opens when Mexico plays, or at least for the big games.

We actually have a license to stay open past 2am, which is rare in OC, but the owner won't do it! hahaha He says there's no money being generated past 2am. There's been a few rare occasions when he has done it, but it's been mostly for his own parties.
