Dunno Volume Problem in FLS

I'm working on this project right now which is about -4db (on average) , when i export it into a 24\32bit WAV file and load it up as an Audio Clip (100% in Channel volume) the average db goes up to about +2.

Does anyone have an idea why the hell this is happening??

Thanks.

What's the bit-rate on the project while you're working on it?

Not that I know ANYTHING about the reason for the increase in volume but I'm surmising that if you're working a project in a 16-bit depth that an increase might be occurring if your rendering to a 24-bit depth .wav file. But, like I said, I am a functional idiot in knowing what's going on.

Have you tried Image-Line forums or http://support.image-line.com/knowl.../base.php?id=54

What FL Studio are you using?

Are you using any demo effects on your master or any channels? I think demo VSTs often have these designed flaws that don't "let" you use them in a project until you purchase them, thus fucking up your export in some way.

ok guys, I've done some experimenting and i think the problem has something to do with the way the WAV file is represented in FLS playlist:

As you can see, what we have here is the same WAV file represented in 2 different ways - once as a Pattern and once as An Audio Clip (i need to do the final touches on it as an Audio Clip).

As a pattern: -6db (lower as sako mentioned).
As and Audio Clip: +1db.

*it happens in 16bit as well.

Im sure im missing something really easy and silly here

Yup this happens to me as well.
Everytime I load an audio clip into the playlist , it always sound louder than by simply playing it through the step sequencer..

No idea, It doesn't bother me much , most of the time what I do is adjust the volume of the channel according to what I want. Besides , usually only FXes and crash will be on my playlist.

Still , I'm at a total loss at this volume difference 0_0

the audio clip channel's volume is 100%,the FL sampler channel's volume is 78%(of the orignal file's volume)
but this has nothing to do with rendering!

Why do you say that the sampler channel's volume is 78%?
Its the same channel represented in 2 different ways - that open channel settings you can see in the pic above.

When i play the wav through Winamp(ASIO ouput) its also lower...That Audio Clip signal is amplified for some reason...

there is actually a simple solution that it's not very professional but can work for you, lower that extra 2db and it will be at your desired level.
