Quite good. Different from the original. Reminds me a little of the Pheric Remix of Art of Trance's "Love Washes Over" in terms of the interpretation. Good job on this.
This is far too uplifiting for my tastes in trance, but I hope my feedback can be of some use.
Structurally, it sounds very robotic. I know this is the case for a lot of trance music, but it's always nice to step back and arrange things in an unexpected way. What I mean, is that the elements came to me just as I'd predicted.
I like your synthwork. It works well in this style and does justice to those great chords. The energy is also very much present and I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it!
I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help to you. All the best, man.

My view/perspective on this track is on SC - that's is where I'm spending most of my time recently.
Cheers.

Phew, glad you like it Eddie. I did try to morph it into a different animal to Cody's original and I figure I'll win some and lose some because of that. I can't remember much about that Pheric rmx except the lyric "Love washes oveeerrrr/cleansing my soul..." but I remember liking that mix from some Gatecrasher compilation, lovely tune.

yeah I was surprised to hear Cody describing my mix as "edgier" because I thought it actually sounded more generic. The reason I did a remix rather than work as a joint collab was because I was curious to hear how this would sound as a more uptempo club-friendly track and with Cody's orchestral-style score it's clearly gone down a very Andy Blueman route lol. I've come to terms with the fact that I may never make a track that impresses you all that much Owsey lol - the artistry and imagination that goes into your work feels beyond me at this point but hopefully the world will always need generic club bangers haha

Haha you do devote a lot of time on there, we all appreciate your encouraging words Darius! Looks like you commented on Cody's original though not mine, but that's just as good!

Yes, it's a little generic and yes it's a little cliched.
But
Boooom!!!
BOOOM baby! Haha thanks man. My priority at the moment is getting my sound quality up to scratch, I guess after that I need to work on carving my own niche style-wise.

This track really compliments the original. You have two quality tracks that could achieve a lot of success if a few details are sorted out.
I would love to play this on my radio show on Friday, after all, one of the reasons I started it was to promote TA producers, even if there hasn't been much of that lately he he.

Love this.
Many thanks

Thanks a lot Calvin! Your input as an experienced DJ is invaluable - I'm keen to know, what are these few details that could be sorted? How's that stereo image? :P
It'll be Cody/Kysora's call as to whether he's willing to give out promo's but I'd be happy to sling something your way if he is. Thanks for taking a listen!

Heya Scot,
When I listened to this on my home set up the mix sounded a little bright, i.e. perhaps a few minor cuts to one or two elements, meaning that I didn't feel enough separation between some of the parts. Hope that makes sense. That said, I have listened to the track on my headphones at work and it sounds glorious.
In my mind, this is one of the best tracks I have heard on the TA forum this year, possibly longer. The fact that you guys have two versions that are equally as good as each other but represent two different styles means that it would be a sham if this didn't get signed.
Let me know how that is going. I know people and I would be willing to pull out the stops on this one for ya with regards to both versions.
I don't often rave about tracks but this one has captured my imagination.
Wow, that's a hell of a compliment there. Thanks a ton, I'll probably try to rework my track a bit soon and I'll let you know when I have something I'd be happy releasing if you're still interested then.
@scott, when I said "edgier" I meant yours sounded a lot more electronic vs mine sounding a bit more organic and orchestral, probably not the right word, haha. Not a bad thing at all either, the track really does work as an uptempo club-banger. You definitely did it justice.
