I find vengeance useless mostly, and generally they actually hamper my mix. Just saying. Find your own sample CDs, its a personal thing and having good ones and knowing how to use them is part of what makes a good producer IMO. Its a very personal thing, a bit like asking, what preset should I use for a supersaw.

Hate to say it, but Kit is right on here. I have one sample pack that cost me $12 that has pretty much been solely responsible for all the drums in my last 6 or 7 tracks. It was small, cheap and contained maybe 15-20 kicks, 15-20 hats, and so on.
