Could someone explain to me how I can save the vst effects I have added to a track in Wavelab.

I have the VST effects set up how I want them in Wavelab however the effects will only work
when I play the track through wavelab, meaning it is only applying the effects in real time but
not saving them to the track.

I have read the help files but still can't seem to get it to work

I have Wavelab 3.0, so i'm not sure if this applies to whatever version you have. On the Master Section window, where you choose your vst effects, there should also be an "apply" button, just below them. Once you have the fx sounding how you want them, click "apply" and then save your file.

In wl 4.0 press the render button on the master effects rack, it's the lowest button on the rack.

In wavelab 4 do I need to open the wav file as an audio montage because when the I open it as a wave file the effects slot does not have a render or apply button, only an on , bypass and presets button.
