Cutting mixes for burning cds on MAC

Back in the day when i used to use windows, i used to import a 80min WAV of a mix i'd just recorded into NERO then cut it very easily into 5min tracks so i could randomly skip through the cd when listening in the car instead of having just 1 80min trk on the cd that i have to listen from the start each time...

My problem is now i'm on a MAC and i have not found a program to do this so easy, does anyone know of anything that can do it so easy, idealy it would use mp3 just as NERO did.

I use Logic to do mine but I'm sure Audacity should be up to the job.

I used to use nero. It had a nice feature where you could put splits/indexes into the track which would allow you to basically insert track marks into the set without any gaps in playback.

All was well and good but my Early 2008 (non unibody) MBP wasn't able to do that. Used parallels to try and get it to work to no avail as supposedly my optical drive doesn't support it.

I never bothered with an alternative.
