I didn't remember seeing a Dirtybird flyer around beforehand. What kind of promotion did they do? They didn't even have a free daytime party before this, like they usually do. As a matter of fact, they are having the free party two days later.
The production consists only of mezz's usual setup and lighting, no go-go dancers. Yet, the party atmosphere was damn impressive. I guess there is some San Franciscan dynamics that I don't fully understand. | Dirtybird has a huge following and known for their quality parties! No need for all that promotion jazz. I know some people who only go out for dirtybird parties, nothing else. The techno/house crowd care more about sound than over the top setups too, minimal lighting and dark rooms are preferred.
