I'm not from Toronto but I think this guy has done a lot to improve things for the dance music community in Canada.

Of all of the relationships that I've had with ppl in my life, I rank ours as one of my most valuable...
When someone in his position has listened to someone like me as much as he has, well that's a pretty big deal to me...
Long live the King of Clubs and I hope he has HUGE success with the Bisha project...

A buddy and I went to a Guv all-access event a few years ago. We got confused looking for the line by-pass, so he walks up to Charles (not knowing he's the Guv owner) who's standing by the main room entrance talking to the bouncers, and asks him really loud "HEY do U work here??". The look on Charles' face was sort've jokes, but he kindly pointed out where the by-pass lineup was.

as a student of the hospitality industry, i hold an immense amount of respect for charles as a truly iconic figure in the history of the hospitality and entertainment industries in Toronto.
I can only hope to emulate even a fraction of the incredible and diverse portfolio that he has accumulated in his years of experience.

Funny story....
I was talking to him in the mainroom about whatever and this guy walks up to us and asks if we have any weed...
Charles looks at me with this funny smile and I just tell the guy that we don't have any...
So funny...

Is the Guvernment still going to be open or is it closing down sometime in the future?

Those condos are overpriced per square foot, but Khabouth is the man for sure. One of the true Toronto visonaries. He is a tremendous influence on our nightlife.
