He wasn't 'elected' so much as he was 'appointed'. How people still believe we elect our presidents is beyond me. That shit is so heavily gamed... Electoral college? Please. That shit is like a bedtime story for children. Our presidents are figureheads with no real executive power. Doesn't matter who ends up in office, the multi-nationals are running the show.

They have popularized a culture of stupidity and ignorance and wrapped it in the vestments of bravado and machoism, and warned their followers that those who know more than you are dangerous; that knowledge is danger.
