So, what do you think of the Anjunabeats Facebook login?
As I'm sure many of you are already aware, the Anjunabeats forum has gone to a new format that requires a Facebook account to log in. Personally, it doesn't bother me since I rarely post there anymore, so it's a good excuse to have one less forum wasting my valuable time that could otherwise be spent posting on TA. But, it has created quite a bit of hostility over there, so I'm curious to know what you guys think.
Also, I really hope that this forum never goes that route.
Re: So, what do you think of the Anjunabeats Facebook login?
I don't have a Facebook and I have no plans to make one, but for some odd reason I can still login over there. I thought that having a Facebook to login became compulsory. I hope that I can continue posting there, because it has a very active production feedback section.

Nice, this way they can retrieve tons of personal details about you.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Only the personal details you'd be comfortable showing anyone else. If there's information you don't want out there, don't put it on your Facebook. If there's information you only want friends to see, set your privacy settings to do just that.
Not really an infringement on your privacy if they see stuff you personally entered and authorized people to have access to.

I consider everything an invasion of privacy if you're forced to hand over any information indirectly. A lot of people don't know that pretty much your entire profile can be 'read' by any third party as soon as you login using their website. But as long as Anjuna still maintains the old logins I see no problem, at least that means you're able to decide for yourself. I'm very much against the social media honestly but unfortunately I need them if I ever wanted to land 1 gig plus I need to be on them as I occasionally develop social media applications for my clients.

Big difference between having your friends who you've authorised being able to see your details VS having anjunabeats being able to see your details IMO.
