What's the attack and release set to, on the compressor?
How much bass are you rolling off/shelving?
When you're mixing, are you mixing with a limiter on your master? (It's okay to do this, just don't trip the limiter when you are. If you're tripping the limiter or clipping, the mix needs to be turned down.)
Captain Obvious: Remember, the kick is going to sound louder in relation to the rest of the music, so if you're having trouble hearing it, lower all your tracks. I'd try by about -3 to -6 db. Then bring them back up so they fit, accordingly.
I do like what you're doing with that mix, though.

A limiter, a compressor, and the equaliser.

You should propably just lower all your mixer channel levels, and leave a little headroom to get rid of the clipping. |
Done.

i feel as if the pad has too much low end. hows the compression on your kick looking? how much gain reduction are you getting? |
Actually, I had gotten rid of the compression on the beat when I uploaded that. Just so we can work on this, I'm now adding it back with a gain of 9 db.

Attack: 18ms
Release: 440ms

I don't know how to explain this... well, there's just one channel with the bass line, and a redundant synth working on the very same melody but an octave higher, just to make the bass sound fuller in the midrange).

Indeed I am. But what do you mean by tripping the limiter?

Just turned the beat up a notch.

also that pad sounds like it has too much low end for its own good |
Worked on that as well.

I suspect the issues lay way before the choices on the master channel.
Can you post a version with all the master FX switched off? |
Sure.... I'm now rendering both versions and I'm going to update the original post soon.

the whole drum track sounds way too loud compared to the other tracks, even in the dry version
