Four Phases Through A Dub Expierence
So i had done a fairly big chillout/downtempo session on radio one day and was generally pleased with the session altho never recorded it. The day after i gathered up some of the tracks from the session and started constructing a mix. And i became fairly pleased with it, it was a sorta mix that did have a flow but broken down in phases. I was working with mostly melodic ambient tracks with some exceptions. The thing i wanted to do was to not do a mix with the usual suspects, and also throw in some other tracks, like a pop track or something jazzy and spicing it up with movie samples (because if anything a usual ambient mix must have then it's movie samples). and that's what i did.
