i think the interface could do with some more bloom, they also could've added a few lens flares and made better use of the terminator 2 font.

Yeah, I agree that the flare is a bit much, but it won't be released until December, so it's probably still in beta mode and could change. Also, it ships with 4 different skins - the white one on the website looks much cleaner IMO.

Looks like it has potential. Depends on the price though.

Looks nice. I use Gladiator 2, which has some nice sounds but most are very sugary cheesey.

You do realize that you're not stuck with Gladiator's presets, right? Gladiator 2 is an excellent synth for designing your own sounds and has a range of sources (oscillator shapes + nearly infinite HCM variables), filter types, modulation sources/destinations, etc. that is not approached by too many subtractive synths.

I wish they'd hurry up and post some audio demos already. Actually, I'd really to see some videos of it in action showing some of the synthesis types, running through some of the filters, etc.

Looks like the art department is getting a workout these days :P

Fractal synthesis? Wonder if they'll ever run outta ideas on ways to synthesize things...

Hope they offer a demo...looks pretty sweet!

But Gladiator has a very specific sound. You can immedietly recognize it by its sound.
This new synth looks great, hopefully it won't have such a big "character" as gladiator, and not as weird to program. Another great thing about Gladiator is that the effects actually don't suck ass as in most synths. Btw, on a related note; has anyone tried Warmverb from tone2? Quite possibly one of the best multi fx units. The reverb is off the hook yo!

It's interesting that they're calling this a "new" synthesis type. Fractal synthesis has been around for quite some time and synths like Reaktor can do it AFAIK. Maybe their implementation of it is something new.
