Drag the master fader right down... If you're new it might pay to look into proper mixing practise and not clip the sound.

Turn this down, or, better yet, keep it at 0.0 dB and set your kick to peak at about -8.5 or -8.0 dB. Then level all the rest around that and try to aim for a final mix peak level no more than -3.0 dB. Maybe someone can suggest others, but one PPM (peak program meter) I know about is FreeG. Put that on your master channel or any mixer channels you wish to find the peak level of.
