[Retrospective] Global DJ Broadcast on Party 93.1 with Markus Schulz
Hello, Florida TA's!
I was reading more and more of the old Global DJ Broadcast threads (provided by TigerClaw and globalgirl) and actually got pretty excited about the old shows. Are you guys still miss the GDJB on 93.1? When it was 4-5 hours long, full of energy and live sets from Markus himself? It would be much better if the show continued in this format, instead of the current 2 hour length, don't you think so?

I like the old format alot better as well....
It was great because Markus showcased some of latest and greatest tunes at the moment as well as allowing big name DJs and the occasional local DJ throw down a set. And he was pretty diverse with the DJ selection. He would have Steve Lawler to Tiesto to Deep Dish to Armin to Sasha etc. He was great at branching out.
I kinda wish he would get a house DJ to showcase these days on GDJB
I have alot of old GDJBs from 2002-2004 wich incluse some great live sets from Roxy NYC '02, ICE in Las Vegas '04, Space 34 where he opened for Tiesto in 2003

old format ftw!
October 2005 if I recall or may be October 2004.. he had Danjo & Styles for the 2nd time as a guest mix and I remember listening to that over and over on my way to fantasy fest in the Keys.
Must've been 2004 cuz I think I was 19 when I went to fantasy fest.

I liked his style from 2002-2004 the best. Now he tries too hard to be Armin, playing the same gay shit as him
