I like the bassy rolling synth a lot. The kick is just awful Man, sorry - like a stock standard kick straight off a preset synth in 1993. I imagine nice loose crowd claps (like deadmau does) on this with a little careful verb.

Alot of potential here please post the updated/finished work when you get it there. Many directions you could take this and get a solid release out of it I feel. That rolling synth makes me smile it just chuggs along

Thanks guys. Yeah, that kick is pretty weak! I'm surprised I didn't notice it sooner, but after a good break I can go back and check it out. Going to expand on the melody and the chords to try and get a nice hook.
A bit of perc variation for sure, maybe a few more perc elements. Gonna sit down at it and have another go soon hopefully.

I really like this melody you have/try to develop in your track - it is really catchy, so the idea is there the rest is in your hands. This could be really seriously good track if you can farther develop this awesome melo and support it with deep solid kick, bass line and throw some cool FX on it - GREAT so far.

Cheers

Thanks dude. Yeah I want to bring out that beautiful melody in my head I know is locked in there! Just lost a close friend last week so me and the guy I'm doing this track with are in mourning, can't really work on it right now. It would be nice to make something beautiful in his memory though. First things first when we get back is that kick!

I agree about the kick, I'm not really feeling it, but the melody to the track is fantastic! I'm undecided on the white noise in the groove though, it sounds kind of out of place to me, but otherwise the track sounds like it's going to be massive!
