If this was any other Friday...
If I was in the city...
I would be at Stone Lounge without a second thought.
Neil Quigley was amazing last year when he performed an open to close set on Boxing Day. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Neil is so talented. I was really impressed by his technical skill. I think that if you like music with a good amount of layers, depth, and warmth, you should go see Neil Quigley. And another thing, I thought his programming was flawless. But see/hear it for yourself. The set from Stone Lounge is available for download... somewhere I'm sure... I also took a ton of videos that you can find on YouTube.
Neil is also a really cool guy. Definitely take an opportunity to chat with him if you have a chance.
I really hope that those of you who aren't going to see Richie Hawtin this week and are looking for another place to dance on Friday to go see Neil Quigley at Stone Lounge.
One more thing before I sign off... Stone Lounge is an awesome little venue, it's very cozy, everyone there is very friendly, and social. This is one of the reasons I love Fabricated parties, they're a great way to meet new people.
P.S. the bartender rocks! She means business!

They're all crazy. Even you. You're all...crazy."
"Even me?" she said.
I thought, "Oh right, if I categorically eliminate all other people, it's just me and her. She'd like that.
"Especially you" I said.
"You are virtually the ring leader, the way I see it."
Then, I blew out the candle.
