Concordia's radio station, CJLO 1690AM, is having a raffle to help raise funds to support the station. For those who don't know CJLO is a non-commercial radio station dedicated to playing all kinds of underground music that can't be heard on mainstream radio. We're run, almost entirely, by a very dedicated group of volunteers who are truly passionate about music. In order to be able to play as much of it as we can we play very few commercial advertisements, you shouldn't really hear more than 1 or 2 an hour, and as a result a lot of our funding comes from fundraising efforts and donations.

I figured I'd share this with all of you because, if nothing else, you're all people who share a love for underground music and since that's what we're all about I thought some of you might be interested in taking part.

We're selling 1 ticket for 3$, 2 for 5$ or 5 for 10$. For every ticket sold we will donate 1$ to the NDG Food Depot, so you aren't only supporting CJLO.

Winners will be chosen on Jan. 7th at our annual Christmas party being held at Club Lambi, anyone who buys a raffle ticket will be welcome to come.
