I can't remember, is he coming back for another season of 24? I'm really getting tired of the show but my resolve seems to always weaken and I end up watching it despite its recycled plots devices and absurd scenarios.

I think i've read somewhere that they're planning a movie to tie all the loose ends orsmth

A movie is on the cards.
I myself cannot wait.

Last season (8) was the series finale. The movie is in the works though.

Definitely gonna miss it come January though.

I felt a twinge of sadness but I know its for the best. Just like Lost, you watch these shows for so many years they become a part of you. But I must admit I started to get tired of Jack beating information out of babies and puppies in order to stop the terrorist.

8 was not the last series. Jack said that doing a series each year was taking too much of a toll on the whole team and they needed a break so they are going to do a film instead.

It won't be the last, because people still watch it, and where there's still interest, there will be another series.
