Hi guys I just wiped out a short scanda mix section, to see how elements stand together.

After some compression, eq, and adding some sub lows..

Your'e putting a lot of work into this one - it's sounding better with each incarnation. Keep going man. Maybe a little more groove and swing will help make it a little less rigid.

Hi RB,, yes I am really hammering this!, I want to get to the point where I cant suggest any improvement, having fun in the meanwhile.. . Im trying to combine depth and "punch". When I finish with sound design, I plan to make it less rigid by automating it.
Lets se how it turns

Try using hard knee, fast attack compression on the kick. You could keep what you have going to the main and run a send to a bus with a compressor on that.
