Best Priced CD Players

Hello,
I'm in the process of shopping for the best priced cd players. My friend just got 2x Pioneer CDJ 100's which are in my room at the moment cuz he cant afford speakers and an amp. I really like these cd players. I was wondering if these are the best buy and quality for the money. I was also wondering if they are any dual cd decks that are as good are at least decent and under like 500 bux or should i just buy 2 Cdj 100s like my friend did? Help would be appreciated

Is you plan on talking your stuff and spinning elsewhere I would get the cdj-100s. It's so much more portable than the dual decks. Plus you have a DJM-500 if I'm not mistaken. It would go well with your mixer to get those. If you don't plan on moving around too much, I would look at the Denon dual players and the Pioneer CMX-3000. I have a Pioneer CMX-3000 and I've had no complaints. I, however, never tried the other dual cd players so I have nothing to base it on.

No experience from any cd players myself, even though I plan to purchase soon... i currently have technics 1200s.
I was thinking the same thing, as I kind of wanted to know what type of cdplayers are best for the money.
I thought there was going to be something standard or close to standard.
Intrestingly enough, people (experienced djs) have mixed opinions about them, but one thing i heard frequently from exp. djs was that they dont last... most djs who have djs throughout the years have told me that they wont last any more than 2-3 yrs average before they start giving problems, regardless of how good they are supposed to be... that is just what i have heard from a few different djs who have used different brands..
I have a buddy who has always used Pioneers. he loves them. From the sounds of it, they have a good reputations with cdplayers.

I personally will not be investing a large sum on the cd decks I get. Most likely they will be Gemini, unless i find a real good deal for basic Pioneers.
im actually tempted in the gemini cdj-30... they run for about 149.99 at hollywood dj. Nothing special, just basic cd deck.
Besides the obvious (manufacture), I think price will depend on what you are looking to get from the deck, like what type of features.
For instance, i just want something i can use in addition with my turntables, for those hard to find tracks that i cant get on vinyl. Other than that, i dont give a rats ass about looping and reverse play and so on... not for now. Its a matter of needs/preference.
Im a strong believer in getting most features from a solid mixer

I have a Pioneer CMX-3000 and it kicks ass. They not quite as expensive as the CDJ 100's. I really scored with mine....got it on Ebay, brand new in the box....the seller forgot to put a reserve price on it and I walked away with it for about $580.

ive got the cdj100s's. they are not bad not their pitch needs to be more accurate, its only to 0.1% accuracy, which is not accurate enough. try going for cdplayers with 0.05% or 0.025% pitch accuracy.

lucky jonny has the cmx3000 those are great but expensive. i guess the cdj100's can suffice but will not constant correction during your mixing.

imo pioneer products are overpriced. same with the tech12's

yea when mixing with the cdj 100's you gotta adjust pitch during the mix at all times, its really tedius, annoying and hard to adjust to but yea, what other players have a more accurate pitch control?

I read that for the Pioneer Cd players, if you change the pitch range to one that is smaller, it becomes more accurate.

that is true.....on the CMX-3000 you've got 6%, 10%, 16% and wide (100%)....the lower the number (6%) gives you more play where as if you put it on wide (100%) you barely move the slider and it changes by several%
