Thanks for listening!

Don't mind the clipping, bad "mastering" on my part..

Left some comments on SC

Overall, cool track, bit empty still, i really like the SID / bleepy rollin thing in the background, gives it a nice tech feel.

i do miss a bit of ooomph/thump in the kick and find the mix a bit harsh on the ears in the mid and highs. Also the mix is a bit too boxy, quite shallow, hollow/small. But if you can get the mix right, with the right depth and silky smoothness, you've got a very cool track.

Potentially huge tbh.

I'd agree with Raphie's comments on the mix but the elements that are already in there are working together splendidly.

I'm missing the hook, which is always the tricky part.

I'd also say the mids in the plucks could be brought forward a bit so they really twang through the mix.

Awesome work though. Most impressive.

I actualy really like the mix as is apart from slightly harsh highs.
Very decent production. IMO it would be finnished nonce it has a memorable element of some kind. At the mo it's a very well made background.

I find myself agreeing with Mr Butler for the third time today. This mix, even on my PC speakers, sounds super clean to me. I don't claim to have much experience or expertise in the field though.

I would share my thoughts on the musicality of this piece, but I'm sure you know it's simply not my thing

Keep improving.

i would agree that the mix needs some work - as the mids and treble are not right, they sounded too harsh to me and somewhat grated my ears!

but apart from that, my personal opinion is that the mix overall is very good and almost right - lots of width and space, and the way that some of the synths sit in the mix and seem to have lots of presence and depth sounded really nice to me.

this contrasted nicely with the other elements of the mix which i think were perfect for the track and mixed very well with the synths.

i agree that the track probably needs one killer element as a main hook - i did think it was a bit unmemorable and lacked a little excitement as it progressed on!

very good quality though - not much work required to get a professional sounding track that i think alot of very respectable DJ's would want to play-out!

I think I must be hearing what you intended with this because I'm not hearing anything to criticize, at all. Very cerebral piece of work while remaining nicely funky. Lovely work, as usual.

Thanks for the comments

The harsh highs were due to me pushing the wintgage warmer too much on mastering =/ final product will be fine!

Definitely liked this quite a bit.

Maybe my Beyer's are a bit forgiving in the highs (listening through the cans since it's 1 a.m.) because everything sounds very clean like my ASOT 428 album, and I'm not picking up the harshness. Can definitely feel some fatigue though.

Also love that electro synth, right up my alley.
