You guys might not particularly like the news source, but I'm not sure I can be bothered writing something long.

Basically: Republicans want to introduce a bill effectively defunding almost all abortion... including victims of date rape. They also want to defund any organisations involved in abortions even if none of government funding goes towards it. Effectively shutting down planned parenthood and places like it. There's also a governer of a state that wants to make it legal to murder people who perform abortions.
