sparked from all of the free stuff that people on TA have sent me and each other over the years, i figured maybe it might be worth the time for people to share their experiences from the generosity of other TA's in this thread.

also, if you've ever seen something around your neighborhood that you think another TA might appreciate or find interesting, here's a place where you two can converse and potentially spread the joy of giving for one another.

for example, i'm planning on sending a copy of the local milwaukee onion to marcus soon.


i encourage everyone to just give, if you can. it doesn't cost much to show your friends you appreciate them by sending them something tangible instead of just socializing over a network of tubes.

ok ok fine. i'll start it out, as i feel that i've been treated with quite a bit of generosity and respect over the years of being active on this forum.

i'll send anyone within the continental united states (sorry international people, international shipping is expensive) or canada (if shipping prices are reasonable) a case of my favorite milwaukee local beer. just give me a good reason why i should pick you and i'll ship it ASAP.

i'd ship/trade ppl beers if they were interested. i know a lot of TAs in australia aren't so fortunate as a lot of us in the states when it comes to craft beer selection.

The problem would be reciprocation. Last year I was going to exchange beer/wine with Mario, but found out it's illegal to send alcohol to the US (you guys are fine to send it here though ). I'd have to get it shipped in some kind of special way, and from AU that's likely to be pretty pricey
