Young American Primitive (white label)

Hi all,

I have a Young American Primitive white label vinyl. Here's my problem... Looking on Discogs shows that they have 1 white label here...
http://www.discogs.com/Young-Americ.../release/379855

The vinyl I have has the information handwritten on it in pen (not a sticker) so I can only guess it is at least accurate as far as the artist name goes. One side has a song that is about 9:07 in length which matches the information for the song Stellarator. On the other side of the vinyl the song is about 7:52 in length which is nowhere near the Event Horizon length listed at Discogs.

I have placed them both on You Tube in hopes that someone can help me identify these songs....

These are the as of yet uncleaned rips from the vinyl.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

White labels are always tricky, haveyou tried to see if Event Horizon has a Radio Edit?

Hi Desiderata,

To be honest I would not know how to determine if there was a Radio Edit or not. My searching has mainly consisted of Google and music forums/sites. I am going to try and contact some of the people listed on Discogs that have the white label shown to see what the length of the song is on the vinyl they have.

Thanks,

bluesticky

Don't you have a record player to play the vinyl on, then compare it to the youtube video you made for promo song number 2 and see if it sounds the same but just shorter in length.

Greg from YAP replied....

"Hey,

I'm not sure where that vinyl came from but I can definitively say these are not YAP songs.
Actually, this isn't the first time something like this has come up. I hope you didn't pay too much.
Take care,

Greg

So not YAP even. I'll just let my friend know that these two songs will remain un-named in his vinyl collection. lol

Thanks,

wOw...what a disappointment. I thought I was on to something. But you did say the first song length was perfect timing with Stellarator? I was hoping to find the song number 2.
