I'm half way through the 4th season and seriously, nothing comes even close to it.
Well, okay, Futurama is close, but nothing beats Family Guy. Not Simpsons, not anything else.

it has its funny moments, but overall i find it supremely annoying. same goes for South Park and The Simpsons.
Hell no. South Park is shit. I used to like it few years ago, now I can't stand a single episode of it.

I like the older seasons a bit more, the newer ones just seem to make really vague references, even more so than normal. I also think the formula for the show is showing a little wear(the whole constant flash backs and side clips thing). I do find it very enjoyable to watch stoned among other things.
I'll second Futurama being sick, love that show.
