i have to disagree with you. the sets that are played in america are usually commericialized. what i mean by this is i have seen tijs many times in the states...dont get me wrong they are great but when you listen to any of his sets outside of the US, his trackselection is completely different. granted some of the sets are old and some of the djs play different things, but honestly i want to hear voyage, airwave, walhalla and all those other classics. in the states you rarely get to hear them. in sets that take place elsewhere, they are filled with all the classics...endless wave, seven cities, the list goes on and on. IMHO i'd rather hear a set in a different environment versus one in the states, thats just my opinion! |
actually i have to agree with you. i love when dj's play the obscure stuff hehe (not that the songs you mentioned are obscure), but its sounds like you would agree with me on the fact that they put more of the, i guess commercial, songs in there sets because really like you said they are a different type of set.
on another note... i just realized i'm now a senior tranceaddict. i'm so proud 'eyes start to well up'.
