The new layout looks great. Some sweet effects too. It's cool that they have the new 'audio through' option, making it easy to switch from digital / cdj / vinyl control in a matter of seconds. Well though out feature that'll definitely appeal to club owners all around.
Ah it feels good that I bought the bundle when it was recently on sale for $300 as opposed to the reg price of $700 The software upgrade will end up costing 80 bucks.
The one thing I'm most excited for... High resolution waveforms.
Saw Dennis Ferrer using it last night. Really slick interface. Can't wait... I got TPRO for free with my Audio 8 back in the summer. $80 for the upgrade? Yeah, sign me up!
One bummer... out April 1... I want it now

I thought, "Oh right, if I categorically eliminate all other people, it's just me and her. She'd like that.

Then, I blew out the candle.

I'm using S4 right now and the new beatgridding algorithm (same as the new Pro 2) is DEADLY accurate.

i dont know how that ddj t1 will work with the new loop decks with traktor 2. Its shown as a controller thats you dont have to touch the computer. Looks like a lot of remapping to do when it comes out.

Really? Well... right on! That's awesome. Can't say I've had the same experience though... I auto gridded my first ~100 tracks I brought into Traktor Pro and found that they hardly ever mixed perfectly with one another. Re-did them all manually and have been doing it that way ever since.

Ill stick with the akai apc 40 and kontrol x1.
I personally don't like the DDJ T1 at all. I hate anything with those jog wheels. I find they're really awkward.
How do you like the Kontrol X1?
BTW - What are all of your setups? I'm interested in hearing what other people are using and how...

love the x1! buttons and everything are build real solid!
as for my set up. Akai apc 40, kontrol x1, macbook pro, audio 2 dj, trakor pro (soon to be traktor pro 2)
the x1 is a solid piece of equipment. I definitely recommend it for anyone interested in a controller w/o jogwheels.
i'm using x1, djm 400, mah lappy, audio 2, and ofc Tpro
And regarding beatgridding... I've manually gridded almost my entire library. It's a pain in the ass and time consuming, but at the same time at least every song I use is finished, and I don't have to worry about doing it mid-set, focusing on other things instead.

I've got thousands of songs in my library so unless I find some motivation and a lot of free time, I'm gonna have to keep gridding as I go along
Been really happy with the new S4 algorithms though... Haven't had a single track not grid properly so far.
