Music that physically acts as a psychedelic?

.. And why not something that does it mentally too.

I simply can't enjoy a basic techno beat when I uh.. am in certain moods, or just real happy (see=never). So if you often have changes of said moods, or you're just happy with this kind of music. Please discuss!

Think tempo changes, sceneries, colors.

Nice track. This one is ridiculously fast and crazy, but it's always changing its sounds. The second half is fabulous.

The track you posted, Marcus, was spot on as to where I was going, tempo-wise. Crazy shit, and definitely something I hadn't heard before.

ziptnf, liked your example too. But I must be honest to you (and most importantly, to myself), that I simply can't handle anything that fast anymore, not by a longshot. It's not that I'd have anything against it, au contraire. I spent years as a teen with music like that. But I haven't had the, how should I put this.. Mental capacity to keep up with that tempo for a long time anymore.

And as for you, hal. It's not that it's an uninteresting topic. It's just that I'm certain you're just anxiously awaiting to hear that I duct-taped some fucking ping-pong balls to my dome so you could ask for the pics. Besides, a different topic altogether. Certainly intriguing, and not to mention controversial. But still unrelated to the sensations I was after.. Or was it?

Yeah, the tempo didn't do anything except just relentlessly pound, I just thought the sound structure of the track was exceptionally unique and psychedelic.

hardcore-trancer, thanks for posting that one. A great example of something I could still handle despite of my tempo issue. ziptnf's example was simply too complex for me, as in too many different sounds/melodies changing too rapidly.

Nice one Ian, despite the lack of tempo changes. I can see that it could do it for you, certainly could for me.

I wanted to respond with Quadra - Digital Stimulant, but couldn't find it on the tube. Though it's not as refined as the one you posted, still a nice track.

Damn I wish I had a link.

Cloudburst, I sees your point, the track just isn't exactly my favorite. But I still enjoy taking a break in the clouds every now and then.
