Sorry mate but it does't exist - I know I've tried to find it.
One problem your going to have is that you need something that does a ground lift before disconnecting and reconnecting, otherwise you get a nice big bang (ever hot plugged your speakers?).
Your options are to get a PC printer AB switch and wire it to fit XLR's (not that difficult)...or get a cheap monitor control with 2 inputs, such as the SM pro patch 2 (for $150)

I don't even plan on doing it while things are turned on. I just don't want to have to plug and unplug things all the time. I feel like I can just make my own switch, but it just feels safer buying something that does the job...
I guess I might have to settle for a cheap mixer, but does that degrade the audio quality in the signal chain? |
Yes, it will but you can pick up a cheap printer switch for $10 and thena d25 connector, some cable and a few XLR's.
I an even tell you how to wire it and it will cost you less than $20.
Hold on though. if you're never going to use them at the same time, then why don't you just wire a cable that has two ins and one out? That's the easiest and cheapest. You probably can find a local cable maker to make it for you super cheap.

Now my question with going with a small mixer is how can I differentiate each channel as L/R.
Would something like a hard pan to the left/right do the trick for the corresponding channels do the trick? |
Yes.
