anyway i have finally decided to head to paradise for vekaj. the dates i have picked are aug. 26th to sept. 6th!

now i am seeking some advice/suggestions (do's & don't's). Where to begin exploring, what would be good to check out etc~!

all suggestions welcome! (oh yeah and definitely some where in the middle of vekaj i wanna do Barcelona)

I haven't been since 2008, but I definitely recommend heading over to Cafe Mambo on the boardwalk for dinner at least one night. Head there around 8:30-9pm so that you catch the tail end of Alex Wolfenden, see the sunset and then catch a bit of whatever special guest DJ they're having that night. I think we went back three time in the week we were there, it was excellent.

I assume that hasn't changed.

Go to Space on Sunday night and then immediately to DC-10 in the morning for Circoloco. That is, if they still do that. I haven't been since 2007.

Do DC-10 Monday Morning...then Amnesia Monday Night.

Amnesia is the place to be especially start of september.
Best parties and almost closing of the Season.

Most likely there willbe a cocoon afterparty at Ushwaiya...or
however you spell that.

Dont ask people in clubs for Drugs.

Leave every club 20 minutes before it closes...so that you
dont get stuck outside in 40 degree heat at 8am with 4000 other
people trying to get a cab.

Bring sunscreen.
Weed is better than money in Ibiza. You can trade it for anything..lol


The Canadian Bar funny enough has the best Espresso on the whole island.

Privat Cabs are better than real cabs.. they also now more about
what going on and how to find anything you may need

i wouldnt expect a cocoon party there ... same goes for the vagabundos (looks like ushaia have gone corporate / fancy pants). but it looks like they will have some good events there this summer ... sasha / ferrer + tmb residency etc ...

and yea I will echo what others have said.

the safest bet includes going to 'we love' on sunday day/night @ space (though cadenza vagabundos @ pacha sunday nights was apparently very successful last year as well)

followed by

dc-10 (gets really good around midday)

followed by cocoon

on monday!!!

Thats Sucks...Ushwaia was dope...went there with Seth Last time
after amnesia and almost missed my flight..

oh well.

And yes apperently the Carl Craig and Luciano night is on Fire.
Gonna have to check that out this year...woohooo

Sunday @ space... best time imo is to get there before sunset sunday and after a sunday afternoon drinking in Bora-bora just 5min from space.

Then DC-10 monday and on monday night COCOON.

Also if you decide to go to Barcelona, Row 14 afterhour on sunday is THE place to be..
