A little Psy WIP

I've not done a Psy track before but I thought i'd give it a go as i'm getting into it a bit.

The clap and hats are temporary but the rest is getting there.

Some suggestions for the sweeps and stuff they use in psy would be useful. I'm having a bit of a mental block fro some reason!

I like this alot. I love the pad chords and the riff thing, the mix sounds good too, nice and spacious. With regards to suggestions, I'm afraid I don't have any, I'm a noob with that genre.

Nice!

Holy fuck (as in how in the fuck did you do that and what are the chances of it happening?)!

Your song begins with almost the exact chord progression I used on the break and drop. I'm not sure what key yours is in, but that might line up nearly perfectly with my synth lines.

Way too short, though.

Keep at it. It's brilliant, so far, and I can already hear the mixing experience you had with that ambient piece being employed on this tune.

Now I can hear what you are after G. - this Psy riff is definitely driving this track very well - great start to, what could be, a "THE ONE" for you, the rest is on SC my friend - cant wait for final production from you lol - awesome!!!

Cheers

I think they call that synchronisity of genius right?

It's just a short WIP, will be about 6-7mins when all done.

Thanks for listening again EZ

As I said to you previously, yes you need to finnish this as it has a really nice vibe and clean lush sound.

Write a note and stick in in your studio saying >'there will come that point where I hate this, but I must remember back to how good I thought it was back when, and I PROMISED to finish'.

Love

This is where my own personal workflow methods serve me well.

If I hate something I bin it, no matter how far I get.

I have stuff on my mp3 player that I made a couple of years ago I know is shite, but I still like listening to it

Hi all I am new to this forum and want to get to know everybody a little bit better, so I figured a good way to do it would be to listen to what you peeps have been producing.

this track is super clean. I really love the kick and bass. nice production, I would spin it in a morning psy set.

can't wait to hear the final mix!
