Do you use the rubber that comes with the tables under slipmat? Or just put the slipmat strait to the platter. If so why or why not?

LOLOL ! !
oh dear haha
Anyway I have my slipmats direct onto the platter too . .
I think the whole point of slipmats was so that you didn't use the rubber because the rubber doesn't 'slip'

if you keep the rubber then it might make your records feel like they are warped cause the slipmat will get deformed and start throwing some wabbly moves on you... I don't know how to explain
the slipmat and rubber can't stick to each other
take that damm rubber off!

The rubber mat is not designed for dj'ing. It was designed as an antistatic measure for when you are using the turntable for regular play (as in a hifi installation for example).
