Try one of these:

Ableton: http://www.ableton.com/live-8
FL Studio: http://flstudio.image-line.com/
Reason: http://www.propellerheads.se/products/reason/

They can all get you professional results if used right, and are usually considered easier to wrap your head around as a newbie than the "big guys" (Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools). All of them come with tutorials and have lots of instruction videos you can find on YouTube and stuff.

Try out the demos of each to see which you like better. Have fun and good luck!

Depends on how you are wired, I guess. I started with Reason only and found it quite intuitive, but others may not. Which is why you should always try the demos.

Try demo's of a few DAW's to see which one suits your work flow, or which one you feel most comfortable with.

Personally, if you're just starting out, I would highly recommend checking out FL Studio and Ableton.

Go directly with Cubase or Logic. You'll simply waste your time choosing some of those considered "easier". Everything can be easy as long as you're interested in what you're doing.
