it's the second day that i have had it, laid it down today- ohh noes!
i was going 150+mph (241kph) on the interstate and couldn't slow down enough for the turn. i went roaring into the median (ditch in between lanes, 4 lane-divided highway)and threw the bike down to the left and jumped up (to clear the bike) to avoid rocketing into oncoming traffic going 75mph (121kph).
i was lucky. messed my shoulder up a bit (like a bad army parachute landing-nbd), scrapes on my helmet, front turn signal gone, and scuffed the fairing. nothing that matters got damaged though.
this is the kind of helmet i was wearing (along with the jacket in the pic above and gloves & jeans).
