Riley & Durant Sample Pack - Demo by tilda140

There is some cool stuff in this pack. Have you guys checked it out? Any thoughts? This is with Ableton effects, normal compression, some bussing, etc.

Riley and Durrant Samples - Demo by tilda140

Updated.

And btw, this is no kind of promotion for me Just spent about 15 or 20 minutes on this for fun. Maybe closer to an hour, I don't know when I drink too much coffee. One more btw here, is that barely anything here is an actual loop. There is probably only one loop left in there that resembles what it was originally. However, all the sounds are entirely comprised originally from the sample pack. Feedback on the sample pack, if you have used it is welcome, as well as feedback on the track itself. Cheers audionaughts!

Progressed this into an actual track (added actual synths, some arrangement, etc). Love to know what you think, cheers as usual. Using some headphones I do not normally use, so I'm pretty interested.

Great vibe here - lovely perc and bass and that now and then tinkly synth is a touch.

But that pitch wheeled lead thing is well bad - if you are going to do that you gotta make mit much better and use reverb sends and dampening automation like those dirty dutch house people do. The breaks are not really attention grabbing.

Great platform to work off and smooth mix.

Breaks? Not sure what you mean.

About the pitch wheel item. It's actually portamento. It's the Sylenth, which I have barely recently deployed. I thought it worked quite well, but I am not using my usual headphones. But the bass turned out fine, and the other elements, so I don't think that's the problem. I should be getting back my Old Faithful headphones soon though.

I don't listen to dirty dutch house. Can you explain what you mean about dampening automation? I'm not sure what you mean. What do you mean by better? Thanks for the feedback and thanks for checking it out.
