I'm thinking about bumping up from the free version to the "lite" version, mostly so I can replace existing tracks after I edit them. Anybody using the "Solo" version? Is it worth the extra $?

I have the solo version and the ability to replace tracks is an absolute lifesaver. I use it ALL the time. It was totally worth the money to me, plus the extra time and ability to download the originals is handy too because it lets you back things up.

I say go for it

i got the cheapest pay version and it works great. i think its limited to 4 hours of mucis and 1000 downloads each "track". this was a while ago though so i bet it has changed for the better.

I'm using the Solo version and have already run out of tape. Mainly because I have a lot of 60 minutes sets for download. If you spread the cost out over a year, I don't think it's that bad. If you have the material, I say go for it.

This is why I purchased a premium account

Using a Lite and a Pro account and I do think it's worth the extra

i have the solo account, thinking of jumping up to the Pro account so i can get more analytic's of where my tracks are being embedded.

using lite, totally worth it. I can see some value in solo accounts but pro and pro plus accounts i think are a waste of money unless you're never want to delete anything off soundcloud ever again.

It's for labels really.

The stat tracking is actually pretty useful as you can tell where most of the plays are generated from.
