^ Agreed, although I am a fan of the Komplete 7 package (great deal), the vintage compressors look like something that should be 30-50$ instead of ~200

Never really been an NI fan personally but these sound quite good imo.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Wow! Should've bought it when I posted it. They were only $119. Now they changed their site, it looks different now.

i think i will stil go for the ik versions... the interface is bigger, plus i'm not digging the idea of using guitar rig all the time. actually i've been moving away from GR lately, even more so now that i joined the D16 group buy a few days ago. i may buy VC later down the road like around christmas or something when they have a sale, since i'm interested the dbx 160, but i'm not too crazy about this release.
to ortofonchild: depends on what you consider a benefit... i like what they do to my sounds. especially the all buttons in on the 1176. -that qualifies as a benefit to me. it may, or may not be your thing. for a while i was using 'the glue' on everything. these comps give me sounds that 'the glue' can't give me. so i'm a happy camper. just use what ever satisfies you.
