There are a host of instruments playing, though, and you may need to be more specific. If it's not in your typical orchestral line-up it may be a Chinese Flute, called a Dizi, (which sounds sort of like the flute part continuing some time after the time window, you used to highlight.)

Anyway, I think the soundtrack of the movie is awesome and there's one part in particular that I think is just incredible (roughly 0:24-0:54 in the youtube link below), and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the instrument that's being used is. The instrument in question starts playing at about 0:37 in the background and it's probably at it's clearest at about 0:47-0:53. I'm really having a hard time explaining how it sounds further, but I think it sounds beautiful and I'd really like to know. The song in question can be found in the link below.
