Spiral in Groove - Neon Cathedral /unmastered

Didn't have the internet to distract me when I made this the past week. A crazy week job/work wise, but always able to find and isolate that perfect moment to sit down and work on this production (even if it's not as common of an occurrence as I would like it to be).

Mate the good part is around 3.11 - that brief passage is immense - a whole big hitting track there. If you can build the track around that key part, your'e onto something.

From 1:30 on I was hooked! Good track! I'd like to hear more kick but it still sounds really nice.

+1.

Cool prog vibe from 1:30 on. The pitch bends were spot on, gave it kindof an exotic feel.

Intro to 3:11 was a bit odd with the vocal chops, they didn't really fit/contribute much imo.

Kick issue super apparant at 3:50.

Different in a nice way, really liked this.

This definitely has a massive "moment," but I feel like the first half is very empty and lacks much soul. 3:11 is huge and sounds fantastic but the track lacks anticipation before that.

Good work either way though!

def work on the transitions and fixing up the first half of the track, but man this has potential. i think everyone else nailed it, kick should be boosted in the mix

vox chops are very, very nicely done. track has fantastic groove and an extremely unique feel. i'd finish this off and hit a bigger label with it tbh, it'll be a very quality finished product

Listening and typing at the same time:

1) Something happen to your dynamics in this track - almost none.
2) Got some partial vibe/groove (in some moments) - work on kick and bass colab (you can check my track Enter Azarynn to see how your kick and bass line can work beautifully together and add a lot of dynamics at the same time).
3) Kick need to be improve/change - would say improve, because I like this sound of it.

Ideas are really cool and sound great but need to work on this dynamics impact in your production - could be a great track man, it is going right direction.

Cheers,

Darek

Thanks everyone, noted and appreciated. The kick I was having a big layering issue with. Took a couple days break, ready to try again this weekend. The feedback is helpful though

Can you be more specific?

Sound really flat, I would love to be overwhelm by rich and deep sound and get this riff and energy driving your/any production - doesn't have any groove/vibe impact on me at the moment ---> is this enough explanation you think?, let me know if is still not clear enough.

PS. did you had a chance to run "Enter Azarynn" a specially 0:30 ????

Cheers man,

Darek

Okay, I get what you mean. I'm succeeded other times, this track just needs a little love now that a couple things have been brought to my attention. Always good to have an extra pair(s) of ears. Now the challenge is bringing it up to par.
