Learning the balance between dryness and wetness on synths as per tech house, and getting the grooves down. I think I like this. Closer to actual tech house than I have ever done I believe. Pushed it up to 127 from my usual 122-125, to get a more jacking feel.

Feeling this one man and im only listenig on a laptop with the internal speakers. Will have a another listen on proper speakers but right now I like the shaker perc line, the main lead is great after the drop really groovy, I like the modulation used on it . The other perc's going on sound nice, the vox stab is good. Good work so far man, sounds promising.

Very cool. Tech-house with kind of a proggy vibe? I really like the percussive synth in the evolution. Mix is spot on but I was missing the kick, a little.

Thanks. You mean maybe it could use a little more sub on the kick? I kinda see what you mean.

First thing I noticed is I really don't like that kick sample :P Your bass has significantly more sub bass than your kick does, it kind of disappears.

At 53 seconds in I reaaaally wanted a transition there. It just kind of enters the bass stage without any sort of indication that it's happening.

Same problem after the break, great riser and build, but the actual drop itself is missing something. When it hits I feel like you could have a burst of reverbed white noise or something just to indicate that it's really hit. Those shakers are a little quiet too.

Great percussion. I do feel like you need more FX and things to break the repetition a bit in the main sections. Maybe that's just the electro in me talking.

I do like the whole vibe of the track though. I love the bubbly synth.

Thx for checking man, super helpful feedback. I don't know why I wait until someone mentions it about the kick. The bass is obviously way more subby. I've been working on it for about the past hour, had raised the shaker a little in volume so yeah it is pretty low. that's pretty much it for the hi percussion, has the good chunky bit . it does need some better execution with the hi hats i think. and carrying along the track with transitions, doing that literally after i post this. i don't usually work on tunes when i'm drunk but i'm tripping balls on adderral and its counteracting some of those effects, so we'll see where this goes.

I've grown into a big fan of tech house, techno and minimal, so this is right up my street. Mate you are very capable, but this one for me is well, ok, but not really moving things.

It is actualy very close to classic London house from the late 90's, especialy the main offset synth. Keep working in this flavour though, it seems to suit your skills.

Cool, thanks for some insight. I have a ways to go before I fully understand this genre, but so far it's been pretty fun. David West has some awesome mixes, Joris Voorn, Koen Groeneveld, Umek, just love that stuff But yeah, no more trance really. Unless very rarely.

Ahh, this turned out to be a really awesome day/night. I took timed breaks to eat and smoke cigs/bud and re-up on the addy, sneak some shots of jim beam in there. it would be great if i didn't need substances to accomplish this but, man it was fun... also, follow up cc would be kind. the ear tends to become weary after more than 5 hours working on something.

Me like! Great to see which parts were added over time. Quite big steps forward, all of them. The way how you introduce a small theme in the break is well executed. It needs some touches to take it that small step up. I can't address those, but that's how I perceive it, a subjective thing really.

The only thing I'd do personally, is scrape the spacious sound on the start. Even though it's mostly filler for an intro I feel like I could build an entire super deep techy thing based on that alone . Plus, for me, it feels a bit too different from the rest. It makes you expect a totally different track if you just hear the first few seconds. Which is just as much a pro as a con for me hehe.

Thanks man, I'm also really happy with the way it turned out. I literally sat there in rapid fire mode adding elements, tweaking them until they fit. A moment of great focus, indeed. I notice those few elements that need a bit of cornering and adjustment like you mentioned, just to take it up a level that much more. I'm glad I stopped working on it when I did, though. I'm also totally in agreeance about the intro. Doesn't seem to fit with the track, so that will be addressed. Overall, this should be finished in a couple days. Thanks for checking!
