Good/Efficient Way to Make a Sample Library?

Hey guys, I'm interested in seeing your workflow when it comes to creating your own sample libraries. I use Ableton right now, and find it a bit tedious to export a single file every time. Back when I had FL Studio, I was exporting batches of sounds using Edison.

What I used to do was take a single, long audio recording with synth stabs, FX, drones, etc., then had Edison automatically slice it wherever there were silences. I can't seem to find a similiar method in Ableton, I tried slice to midi but it divides the audio too much, and It would be a bit tedious having to set warp markers manually.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments on this? I'm sure there are better methods out there for creating your own sample libraries, perhaps there is audio editing software that is perfect for this sort of task, or should I just go back to FL Studio for this? What say you?

Do you mean something like ReCycle??

Why don't you just place the loop in live in arrangement mode divided it up into your sample's, consolidate, then drag each one into the browser at the side to save them and use in the future.
