No guitars, no shitty vocoded vocals, no bullshit trance cracker melodies. Proper composition rather than a bassline with a rubbish patchwork of weird, unrelated samples splashed on top to form "progression".

Or some names that produce such full-on (not following it so much).

I think the appeal of psy is growing slightly due to complete failure of regular trance music, but need to know what exactly you are referring to before commenting further.

None of this is game changing stuff. Apart from perhaps Magnus, they're all sticking to an established and hackneyed formula. Frankly though, I'm just glad to hear some serious sounds make a comeback, even if they are derivative.

Like, where the hell are new albums from Headroom, Zen Mechanics and Burn In Noise? All three of them presented brilliant, creative albums in 2008 and since then they've done little more than remix and tour.

Are you really calling that Zen Mechanics album brilliant and creative?

Psy-trance is the most disgusting thing ever existed and i blame John Fleming for it.

I really like his White Label series i always saw them as good full-on trance fillers but his White Label Republic from 2005 just make me cringe.
