I like the bass in the first track, and the piano in the second, though i feel there could have been some more ambient parts on both of them.

Ed the first track is not my bag but the second is wonderful.

It isn't fatiguing, it's very pleasant listening. I like your mixing style and find it has an organic quality away from the plasticy shrill mixes that are very common these days.

I love all the little touches like that little flute thing.

From a taste view the only thing I'd love to hear is, now don't take this the wrong way.............. less white boy breakbeat drums!! .

I'd love to hear your work with more dancy drum n bass ultra vibey drums and away from what I think of as middle aged rocker on a drum kit.
I've never liked breakbeat style drums as they have never been dancey to me and my mates, there just is not the vibe and feel.

BUT as I said that's merely a taste thing so very much something you can ignore.

Thanks, Subtle. I'll keep the ambient remark in mind. I've been trying to cultivate a space in my mixes but I'm assuming (also, perhaps) that you're talking about sounds, in general.

This was just revisiting old work and I'm in the midst of a complete & drastic rethink on my rhythm section, specifically for more drive and groove, in my current projects. And, yes, I'm definitely planning on doing some D&B work. Thanks for the feedback, though.

Always like your (and I'm impress with) maturity of sound evolution in your tracks, and those two aren't different ---> well constructed sound evolution, almost like organic way, with smooth and naturally formed melodic changes in it - pretty cool and fascinating man. We in Seattle use to have Smooth Jazz station and on Sundays they had a "City Lights" segment which would be perfect for your tracks to be play in.

Like them both, they got something special and warm in it to let me cool down and disconnect myself from all of my daily problems and engage in, almost like, hypnotizing and self regeneration session, bloody awesome Eddie, really cool.

Not feeling the first one very much. I do really like the second one. Piano seemed mixdown well, everything does infact. The kick is a little loud but I think that's what you're going for.
