So I heard Oaky was like Tiesto... he used to hit the floors hard but he went lame and commercial.
so I have never really dug deep into his stuff, the only song I know is Game Master (Lost Tribe), and I think it's a fabulous track.
what are Oaky's best songs from 97-99 ?
or if he created some songs even before 97, I wouldnt mind giving it a listen to
because in general I'm just looking for his best songs
what do you guys think are his best songs?

He's done a lot of productions, mixes, and remixes since the early 90's. Being that you chose to put Gamemaster in your post I'll just assume you heard the Tranceport mix. As far as original productions I always enjoy this:
Ah okay I wasn't misinformed on Oaky on Game master... I just forgot.
Wow so it was Matt Darey?
ok
I know Ready Steady Go... anything else?
edit: I just checked out the other thread a few threads below, I noticed that Perfecto Presents Another World was by Oaky. holy crap LostIt.Com is INSANE

Here are some of mine.
Oakenfold actually have started making non-commercial stuff again, like this one..
Yeah I been in the midst a getting them all for some time now. He mixing was so on those years, once you hear those sets and how seamless and dynamic they are the statements of his mixing go right out the window.
I'm eager to listen to his new mix compilation CD coming out in the next couple days. I just want to hear a good DJ mix that doesn't bore me by the 4th or 5th track.
Any of his essential mixes and anything pre Faster Kill Pussy Cat imo is Oakey. You used to be able to get on Bearshare, or Limelight, or even Napster and download couple hour mixes of his. That's pretty much all I listened to. Great music.
