New Years down south: Any good parties?

Going down south around new years, no exact dates, late December for sure. We haven't picked a location yet. Hoping to catch a DJ one or two nights (or three) -- Any suggestions?

Saw online the BPM festival in playa del Carmen, looks interesting. But is that all there is? Thx
