Maybe yes, maybe not. The point of my answer is that this is not a failure of Beatport as your title thread suggest, it is a failure of the EDM industry or more in general the music industry. Beatport is just taking advantage of its dominating position, those that are damaged by the release of such tracks are producers that still release quality music. But since quality music only comes in limited quantities it is not in Beatport interest to apply any type of quality filter and thus it just leaves to labels and artists to adjust themselves.
